Hooray hooray what a birthday!
Lucky me got to spend my big two three in Afreeeekah.
Since it was Ginjah Ninja's bday on 11/11/11 (oOoOo) we decided to have a combo party, its a bit more fun and cost-effective that way I'd say. We started the evening at Pancho's, un restaurante mexicano en Observatory. DELICIOSA. I rocked up with my crown on, naturally, and then the margarita pitchers started flowing!
When ordering food, I got my typical burrito sin queso, sin frijoles, sin everything that basically makes a burrito, a burrito. Haha. She told me that I ordered the small... a small for who? Hagrid?? Mr. T?? Man vs. Food?? Seriously.
In honor of Movember and Mexican food I brought a few tashes for everyone to share.
After satisfying our stomachs with spicy food and super drinks we moved the party over to Tiger Tiger for some hip thrusting and head bobbing. The night was finished off with the hungry boys' quest for a 24-hour McDonald's, but apparently there are only 23.5 hour MickeyD's, and we just happened to hit that half hour where they close haha.
11/11/11 = Great Success
Now on to the best day of the year... November 12!! My birthday!!
Jorg's family treated me to a beautiful birthday lunch at the Del Aire wine farm in Franschoek. The farm itself was one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen.
What a wonderful birthday!!! Of course I miss my US family & friends so much, but this was the best birthday I could have ever asked for without them present! Thank you to everyone who made it so wonderful :)
Also, big thank you to my 3 Steini-guys for such an awesome birthday present... a night at Erindi in Namibia!!! Erindi... be jealous . I'm so excited!!! 2 three hour game drives! I'll have to make sure my camera is nice and charged for that trip. Safari Barbie is back!
