While I missed the American version of our beloved holiday, I was able to show South Africa a bit of what Thanksgiving is all about. Unfortunately I couldn't give them the entire four holidays of that make up Thanksgiving...

4. Click-around-aimlessly-on-the-internet & put-yourself-further-into-debt-by-buying-things-for-yourself-when-you-should-be-buying-for-other-people & Shop Your Face Off Again Cyber Monday
But they were thankful (chuckle chuckle) to have the most important day out of the four.
With a little help from Google and my Mom, Chef Jorg prepared a scrum-diddly-umptous turkey for our Thanksgiving.

It was a wonderful night, and for much of the party it was their first time eating turkey!! I made Grammie's stuffing, a Honey & Orange Sweet Potato dish, and a cheesecake :). I'm turning in to quite the little housewife, go me!
